NEUNUC · LOCAL MACHINE SOFTWARE

PrintWorks

A focused 3D-print workflow: model, slice, inspect, validate, export.

Quick start

  1. Launch Start-PrintWorks.cmd.
  2. Choose the machine setup values.
  3. Load an STL, OBJ, 3MF, or existing G-code file.
  4. Resolve preflight items.
  5. Generate the NeuNuc basic slice, inspect Toolpaths and G-code, then export.

Model → Slicer → Printer bridge

NeuNuc’s internal slicer supports simple watertight STL meshes. It intersects triangles at each layer, forms contours, creates a basic perimeter and infill path, and emits bounded Marlin/RepRap-style G-code.

Important: OBJ and 3MF are import/metadata formats in this release. They are not claimed as supported slicer inputs.

External tools

A generic slicer can be configured through its executable path. Detection only reports path existence. It does not prove a license or a printer connection. Opening the tool requires the exact phrase OPEN SLICER.

Adapters

Simulation and local G-code handoff are available. OctoPrint and Moonraker/Klipper HTTP contracts are disabled by default and status-only; none is bundled with credentials. No adapter starts a print.

Safety

Generation, validation, preview and export only. Handoff requires HAND OFF JOB. Verify bed limits, filament, temperatures, start/end G-code, firmware dialect, and first-layer behavior before using any file.

Limits

Non-manifold and complex meshes may be rejected. Supports, bridges, seams, adaptive layers, production-grade collision checks, and vendor-specific postprocessors are outside this candidate.
